We resourced due diligence and project management instructions in 40 countries in 2007.
Our innovative market-leading due diligence report, enabling us to handle large volumes of survey work globally (over 4,500 properties in 2007), extremely quickly and accurately, has become the preferred choice of many investment managers. For example, given 48 hours' notice, we provided full reports, including environmental audits in two weeks on 83 properties in eight countries for three different clients.
We successfully developed new services such as disability discrimination reports, summary retail reports, party wall services for developers, and FRS 16 dilapidations. These enabled us to substantially increase our work in the in-town retail, development and leisure sectors.
Our successful project management of the new (£11.5M) CIPD headquarters led to it being nominated for an award at MIPIM (where it was publicised next to (£35M) 40 Portman Square – another development we are project managing and which was also nominated).
Our Architecture department (Vista) was instructed on a large resort scheme in Ghana.
The team released seven information newsletters which led to over 1,200 requests for further information. We also spoke in 12 CPD seminars on nine different subjects to a combined audience of over 1,500.
